Finding your Ancarta fit

Finding your Ancarta fit - Ancarta

Choosing a size is easier when you have two things beside you: your current measurements and the fit notes for the piece you like. Whether you are choosing your first Ancarta set or adding a different shape to your wardrobe, start with those details before selecting a size.

Start with the body measurement chart

The Ancarta size guide includes a body measurement chart for chest, waist and hips, alongside an international size conversion chart. Use the body measurements as your starting point, then check the regional size labels if you need them.

Write your three measurements down together. Looking at the full set helps you notice when, for example, your waist and hips sit in different size ranges. Keep the units beside each number so you can compare them without having to remember which scale you used.

Keep centimetres and inches consistent

You can switch the guide between centimetres and inches. Choose the unit that matches your notes before comparing a row.

For example, the guide's M body-measurement row lists a chest of 89–94 cm, waist of 71–76 cm and hips of 95–100 cm. That is a reference for reading the chart, rather than a personal size recommendation. Compare all the relevant measurements and the individual product's fit notes before deciding.

Avoid matching a number from one unit to a range in the other. A quick check of the unit label is especially useful when moving between a saved note and the website.

Read the notes for the exact piece

Open the product description as well as the size guide. A photograph can help you see the neckline, sleeves and shape; the written fit reference gives you information that a photograph alone cannot.

On the Form Twist Short Sleeve in Mocha, for example, the description distinguishes the size worn for the shoot from the model's preferred fit. Read both details rather than choosing a size from the image alone.

If you are building a matching set, make this check for the top and the bottoms separately. Consider which measurements each piece needs to accommodate and how you would like it to feel when worn. A matching colour does not make the two sizing decisions identical.

Ask when you are between options

If your measurements span different rows, or the fit notes leave you unsure, email support@ancarta.co with the product link, the sizes you are considering and your measurements with their units. Include the fit you prefer, such as closer or roomier, so your question has useful context.

For selected styles offered in 3XL, the guide directs shoppers to the support team because it does not currently list 3XL body measurements. Check the size options on the piece you are considering and ask for help before choosing.

When you are ready, open the Ancarta size guide and keep it beside the product page while you compare.
